The shifting focus of graphic arts from analog to digital production necessitated a change in how these techniques are taught to new generations of students. Amphora’s plan for this Graphic Arts Lab brings forward digital production in a way that recognizes changing methodologies and prizes the space freed up by these shifts. While still providing adequate facilities for more traditional techniques, new forward-looking programs can be brought in to diversify the range of possibilities for students interested in new technology.
